Illya Darling

by Jaime Weinman

After last night’s Mad Men (the first episode this season on which Matt Weiner didn’t take a writing credit, though that might be less a reflection on the episode and more a sign that the WGA was awake that week and willing to crack down on credit-hopping), no one will look at these ads — which were all over comics in the mid-to-late ’60s — the same way again.

  1. But it is Ducky from NCIS. He is still in fashion!

  2. How funny. After the first season of Mad Men I had an urge to watch all the Man from U.N.C.L.E. episodes – and did over a year period. It had to be my favourite show in the sixties. It hasn't aged all that well, but still, it's a lot of fun to watch. So many stars… Ricardo Montalban was great in one of the episodes, so was Cesar Romero and pre-Star Trek Shatner and Nimoy, and Sonny and Cher! What hit me most was how gorgeous the young ladies were.
