Ikea also experimented with giving Mr. Moose a Swedish accent, which only went to prove that we Canadian Ikea shoppers don’t actually want to be reminded of the national origins of our favourite assemble-it-yourself furniture. There is no word on which accent is the “authentic” Mr. Moose accent, but at least he can talk. The monkey hasn’t said anything yet in any accent.
