Fans react to Game of Thrones massacre

There was drinking, feasting and killing on the most recent episode of Game of Thrones. In case you missed it, Twitter is a-talk about the massacre at the feast.

George R.R. Martin calls it “the hardest scene I’ve ever had to write.” He added that he likes his “fiction to be unpredictable.”

It was precisely so — at least to judge by the G.O.T. reaction videos now being played and replayed on YouTube. (Warning: Much screaming and some swears.) Some questions: 1. Did these viewers not read the book? 2. Is this really how people watch TV? 3. What now?
