Former student president pleas guilty to theft

(I know I noted this situation a few months ago, but I can’t seem to find that post – frustration!)

A former University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee student association president plead guilty to a charge of misdemeanor theft as part of a plead bargain today.

Russell Rueden admitted to one count related to stealing money while he was in office.

According to this AP report, Rueden was accused of stealing $10,000 intended for student activities.
