Life after student politics: Election edition

During the 1996-97 academic year, I was the Newfoundland and Labrador operative representative on the national executive of the Canadian Federation of Students. Also serving on the CFS executive committee that year, representing graduate students, was one Michael Temelini of Windsor, Ontario.

Dr. Michael Temelini, who is now a professor of political science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, is a frequent commentator on local and national politics here in Newfoundland and Labrador. In this video from CPAC’s Campaign Politics, Temelini does an excellent job outlining the basis of the continuing feud between premier Danny Williams and Stephen Harper. The backdrop is the on-going election race in St. John’s East — my federal riding. (Highly recommended for political junkies).

  1. Oh, Dale.

  2. It’s amazing how when I watch a political video from N.L, I see more people that I know personally than I can count on one hand.
