WLU food

Okay, bare with me, it’s been a long summer without student newspaper content to blog about and I’m overly excited by the start of the new academic year.

The Cord Weekly includes a story about WLU attempts to improve food service at its “Fresh Food Company” cafeteria. Reading the article, it sounds like the changes are cosmetic in nature. Too bad, we gave them some feedback last year and the grumbling wasn’t about problems with cosmetics, it was about problems with the food and hours.

Also on the food front, The Cord Weekly editorial notes that students will be paying more this year for their meal plans. The big problem? They are paying more for a meal plan which gives them less flexibility than the old more affordable plan.
