Bomb explodes near Damascus hotel

UN observers unhurt despite damage to the hotel they were staying in.

A bomb connected to a fuel truck exploded on Wednesday outside of a Damascus hotel, reports The Globe and Mail. The hotel is where UN observers are staying.

None of the UN staff was hurt, but the explosion is another in a long line of Damascus attacks in the clash between government troops and rebels. Syria’s state TV reported that at least three people have been wounded.

The hotel was only slightly damaged with some shattered windows. Smoke was seen billowing into the sky and a Labor Union building across the hotel was also damaged.

The UN has no official statement yet.

  1. US is emboldened by the success of their engineered crisis in Egypt ,Tunisia and Libya. they are working hard to make sure the trouble makers in Syria receive all kinds of weapons and support, they must produce pictures of suffering children and women so that Hilary Clinton could play politics on those pictures , she is not alone though the entire Europe and Canada is showing full solidarity and support to her murderous game hoping they could change the Govt. no one seems to questions the ethics of this game being played by Obama regime. This kind of interference in other countries is not good to say the least, Yet the leaders in US have the audacity to claim that they are good and conscientious family men and women. Outsourcing murder is the new excitement of the new world order.
