Dating website trims the fat

BeautifulPeople.com ejects members for packing on holiday pounds

A dating website that only allows pretty people is showing no mercy to those who put on holiday pounds. After recent photos posted by members revealed they had indulged in too much chocolate and eggnog, BeautifulPeople.com gave about 5,000 former beauties the boot. According to managing director Greg Hodge, “newly chubby members” were asked to reapply in response to complaints from their still-trim counterparts. “Their re-applications were reviewed by existing members and only a few hundred were voted back in. Over 5,000 were rejected.” Site founder Robert Hintze defended the move: “Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded,” he said.

  1. this site is designed to attact beautifful people but they uniwittingly gather all the shallow morally ugly people together in one place

    • Well I would be interested on where they draw the line.
Not that I ever could qualifdy to be a member anyway.

      • for men it doesn't matter if we are good looking …Mick Jagger and Hugh Heffner seem to be quite popular being pale wrinkly rakes with faces only a mother could love..and not to metnion Gene Simmons

        • That's because women are attracted to money and/or fame.
