Man activated emergency alarm after leaving booze on train
Several firefighters showed up at a train station in Kaiserslautern, Germany after a man activated the emergency alarm. The 44-year-old had summoned professionals to rescue his bag of beer, which he left on a train that pulled away after he and his female companion stepped off for a smoke break. The firemen did not try and rescue the beer. Instead, they helped the man bandage the cuts he suffered to his hand after broke the glass over the emergency alarm. Both he and his 28-year-old friend had blood alcohol levels of almost 0.2 per cent (2.5 times the legal limit to drive in Canada). Police are considering charges for misuse of emergency equipment.
