Fortune and Finance Minister at Dragon Ball

  1. Try again without the URL screwup. Sorry…

No shots of Warren Kinsella there? He didn’t show up to make amends for his “BBQ Cat” comment?

How insensitive of him…when a Conservative “misses” such an opportunity like an AIDS conference to “redeem” themselves for some past trumped up slight there is a public outcry. By our media’s own standards then, since Kinsella didn’t show up to show his support for the Chinese community he insulted, I guess that must mean the allegations of racism are true, right?

(For the record, I don’t think Kinsella’s comment was racist; it was just a bad joke. He doesn’t deserve any sanction; but then again, neither does Harper deserve the insinuation of homophobia if he doesn’t attend an AIDS conference. Especially when days after that conference he lined up Bill Gates to commit millions of dollars to AIDS research)

    • I will help you clear up your confusion, john g.

When a liberal says something offensive, it is obviously a harmless ‘joke’ gone awry. Liberals can never be wrong about anything, ever.

When a con says something offensive, it is obviously a window into his, and every other con’s, soul. Which are dark. Very, very dark.

      I hope this helps.

Warren K’s got form with cracking wise though, doesn’t he. He was making jokes about women and baking cookies not so long ago.

  2. Boy, is this Kinsella thing over done, over-partisan shots, over everything or what. How’s that promise by Sask MP, Lewswiski (sp?) to work with the gay community coming along by the way.

Geez, any excuse in the world for Tory partisans to attack. Get a life.

  3. Sandi,

Geez, any excuse in the world for Tory partisans to attack. Get a life.

That’s funny, considering we are talking about Warren Kinsella, the original partisan attack dog.

How is what Kinsella said any different from what Lukiwiski said?

And where is Kady O’Malley? Kinsella is the newly appointed head of the Liberal War Room. He’s broken the cardinal rule of war rooms and made himself the story in a bad way. Once upon time there was a Macleans blogger or two who could be counted on to bring the missteps of political warrooms to her blog almost as fast as they happened. I wonder what happened to her…

  4. Interesting blog. Sorry, but may i ask, who is Michael Ignatieff?
