In a wild finish in the 500-metre men’s short track—a crash involving all four finalists in the last lap that left defending champion Apolo Ohno disqualified—Canada’s Charles Hamelin has won the gold with a time of 40.981 seconds. His teammate Francois-Louis Tremblay has taken the bronze with 46.366 seconds. Korea’s Sung Si-Bak earned second place with a race time of 41.340 seconds.
