Jason Kenney and corned beef

Calgary MP Jason Kenney (left) attended the Toronto book launch for David Azrieli’s book Rekindling the Torch: The Story of Canadian Zionism at Beth Tzedec synagogue.

Ralph Benmergui (right) hosted the event and is seen here with Moshe Ronen, Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress and National Chair of the Canada-Israel Committee.

The corned beef.

Jason Kenney and corned beef

  1. So that’s where Jason is ! Living in SE Calgary, finding Jason is like Where’s Waldo. There’s an election on but he’s nowhere to be seen. Candidate’s debates are not worthy of his attendence. I noticed that he sent us two mailing telling us how great the Cons are at taxpayer’s expense. He used to say that it was a waste of money but now he uses it regularly.
I guess I’ll have to visit Toronto if I want to see my representative to Parliament. He’s never here and he hasn’t done anything for SE Calgary in all his years as an MP.

  2. There is at least one turkey in the room.

  3. Kenney – what a suck up – does the Jewish community fall for this?

Jason better lay off the corned beef…he’s really gaining weight.

  4. “does the Jewish community fall for this?”

Fall for what, Sandi? Maybe Jewish community is well aware how ‘tolerant’ the left is.

“Bob Rae was the target of anti-Semitic attacks during the Liberal leadership contest, motivated at least in part by the fact that his wife is Jewish.

Sources close to Rae say that his wife, Arlene Perly Rae, was approached during last weekend’s convention by a delegate who didn’t realize she was the candidate’s wife. The delegate told her not to vote for Rae “because his wife is Jewish.” Canadian Press, Dec 7 2006
