Maygan Sensenberger, last seen in and out of a Saskatoon courtroom, showed up on a runway in Ottawa on Sunday evening — but it’s not what you might think.
Zimmer told a Citizen editor that his wife is taking acting lessons in Ottawa. “Maygan Sensenberger is up for a role in a movie to be made in Ottawa about a grandmother and the prime minister, Zimmer says,” tweeted Citizen Life and Fashion editor Janet Wilson.
The Senator told Wilson: “She may be shorter than all the other models, but she’s beautiful and glowing.”
Sensenberger was in a different sort of the spotlight at the end of August after she was charged with causing a disturbance on Air Canada Flight 8597 to Saskatoon. She later pleaded guilty and received a one-year suspended sentence.
Citizen fashion week photo gallery is here, by the way.
