Monty Python together again

The comedy troupe is set to stage “silliness on a mass scale” for the first time in more than a decade

To celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary, four of the main six stars will perform in the musical adaptation of Life Of Brian, called Not The Messiah (He’s a Very Naughty Boy), premiering at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 23. Michael Palin, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam will appear in the production, but John Cleese is not on the bill. Idle describes the show as a “comedic oratorio based on Monty Python’s Life of Brian.” And says that favourites scenes to watch for, include a naughty Mozert duet and the classic finale, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.
