Most Canadians against due process for passport frauds - Macleans.ca
Most Canadians want people who enter the country illegally ejected right away, a new poll shows. The Leger Marketing survey found 73 per cent of respondents want people who come to Canada with fake passports tossed before their cases are heard. Eighteen per cent think they should be allowed to stay while their appeals work through the deportation process. The survey comes amid a federal crackdown on alleged war criminals living in Canada. The Conservative government recently released a list of those suspected of war crimes living in Canada right now. Five have since been arrested.
