MPs help battle bullying at Egale’s gay rights gala

  1. I feel un-stylish enough at regular events, I don't think I could hack an Egale event…

  2. Jack Layton's face looks healthier and plumper than even just two weeks ago. Good for you, Jack! Keep getting better.

  3. Congratulations to Egale for standing up and doing something about an issues that should have been solved years ago. Let's just hope that something comes of it.

  4. Isn't Jaime Watt on the right (of the picture)?

  5. Can someone explain how this is fighting homophobic bullying? Didn't they give a Leadership award to a straight bank CEO? How is that encouraging gay kids or fighting against bullying?
As for the MYGSA website. It's horrendous and a waste of time and money.

  6. Hmmmm, isn't the CEO of the Canadian Human Rights Museum Stuart Murray? Stuart Murray – the guy who voted against same sex rights for years and deliberately tried to stop gays from adopting and voted against gays adopting? Stuart Murray – the guy who when confronted with his record by the Winnipeg Free Press at a Canadian Human Rights Museum press conference – said that human rights for same sex individuals were " . . . a matter of opinion."

Good to see the Canadian Human Rights Museum at an Egale function when it was Egale that complained that the CHRM was leaving gays and lesbians out of material.

  7. wish me and the wife was there WE all need to stop and think IF us adults are having a hard time and broke the stero type i can't imagion what our teens are going through and being in school around " friends" I will help here in saint john if anything needs to be done
