MPs mix with Genie stars

  1. Love how the statue is taller than Minister Lunn.

(my apologies if I have offended any of the vertically challenged folks out there)

  2. Canada needs a Hollywood.

At the moment the only way you can become famous in Canada is by being a hockey player, or a politician.

Which is why we have so many bad politicians who should rightfully be in showbusiness.

  3. We have a Minister of State for Western Economic Diversification?

Wow. Will she be appearing in any CAPP ads?

  4. A few random comments:

    Hey, it's Strombeshi! http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/Shows/More_Shows/22_Min

I had no idea Carole Lavallée was married to Rémy Girard. He is the best Canadian actor bar none (and I consider him Canadian until anything should change).

Seeing the photo of Don McKellar at the end reminded me of the sad lost he suffered the past year.

Glad that Incendies was named Best Picture and that Barney's Version did well in the awards also.

  5. It would appear Gilles Duceppe is the only one not having a good time. Too many Anglos around?
