Nicollette Sheridan is desperate, but no longer a Desperate Housewife

First to leave the show is the least famous one

Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Edie on Desperate Housewives, is leaving the show. Her representative says that Sheridan, who was previously best known for playing the title role in the John Cusack/Rob Reiner teen comedy The Sure Thing, “had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project.” Considering that her only projects in the last few years have been voice work in movies like Karate Dog and Noah’s Ark: The New Beginning, it may seem like a strange career move, but isn’t it ironic that the first Desperate Housewife to leave the show is the least famous one?
