Certainly Richard Nixon had no love for the man, or his deceased brothers. Oval office tapes from the early 1970s caught Nixon ordering spy operations on Kennedy, hoping to catch him cheating on his then wife, Joan. And the President despairing over her plans to wear hot pants to a White House function.
