Obama nation hits Ottawa

Barack Obama books greeted you at the Ottawa airport.

 

The red carpet and red duct tape was rolled out.

Environemental Defence hosted the only real Obama pre-party the night before the president’s arrival. This Canadian environmental advocacy group packed the Métropolitain Brasserie & Restaurant. Below, executive director Rick Smith addresses the mixed and very multi-partisan crowd.
