Mother of 14 aims to cash in on her fertility freak show
Nadya Suleman, the mother of the octuplets born in California last week, is angling for at least $2 million in interview fees and commercial endorsements, reports the Times of London. The 33-year-old unemployed woman, who has six other children, one of them autistic, has also expressed plans to pursue a career as a “television childcare expert.” Though still in hospital, Suleman intends to speak to both Oprah Winfrey and Diane Sawyer this week. Her earning power, however, might be compromised by the growing ethical and medical controversies stemming from the births which resulted from in vitro fertilization.
