Oh, good.

I’m told from a few well-placed birds that there is definitely going to be a provincial election called on November 5, the day after you-know-what.

If this is true, and I think it is, then I only have this to say: Mauditcrissedecalissedetabarnac.

Oh, good.

  1. So how do you feel about this Martin? Don’t hold back…

  2. 0u0ute!

  3. You forgot “hostie”…or is it ‘ostie? This is one ex-anglo Quebecois (can an anglo be a vendu?) who uses ‘ostiecrisse’ regularly, even around my kids. Such a versatile set of words no? Lets me vent without damaging their young minds nor invoking my wife’s ire!

    Vive le Quebec!

  4. Say Martin? Didn’t you get the memo? Such “impolite” talk is banned from Macleans blogging pages for fear of serious reprisals from l’ostie d’Paul.

  5. I think it would be dangerous for Charest to call an election Nov. 5 as he has not lost the 30 lbs in body weight that he habitually loses prior to every election.

My concern here is both medical and political.

If Charest skips his pre-election diet this time, and then experiences his normal 30 lbs weight gain while in office, he will be morbidly obese by the time it comes to go for a 4th mandate.
