The eventual heir to the British crown saved a hiker in North Wales
Just one more reason to be fond of Prince William.
After a Canadian tourist fell down a crevice while hiking in Anglesey on the coast of North Wales, Prince William and his search and rescue helicopter crew saved her. The 58-year-old woman sustained a broken leg and was taken to hospital.
Last week, William piloted a Sea King to rescue a 16-year-old girl who was drowning in Silver Bay. She was trying to reach her 13-year-old sister who was caught in a current. The helicopter lifted the older girl while her sister was helped to shore by a surfer.
