Ex-IMF chief to fight sex assault charges in New York court
Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund, has pleaded not guilty to rape and sexual assault charges in a New York courtroom. He is accused of assaulting a hotel maid in New York on May 14. Outside the courtroom, a group of hotel workers denounced Strauss-Kahn, demonstrating their solidarity with his accuser. The prosecution says they have DNA evidence that proves the allegations are true. Strauss Kahn, 62, faces up to 25 years in jail if found guilty. His next court appearance is slated for July 18.
