The mysterious, mystical powers of the G-spot have been debunked by researchers at King’s College London in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. After studying more than 1,800 women, including twins, they have announced that the zone in the vagina, believed to be highly erogenous, is a figment of popular imagination, popularized by sexologist Professor Beverly Whipple of Rutgers University in 1981. Andrea Burri, one of the study’s authors, said that women who couldn’t “find” their G-spot suffered from feelings of inadequacy or under-achievement. “It is rather irresponsible to claim the existence of an entity that has never been proven and pressurize women—and men too.”
