Canadians on Sunday were again denied a glimpse of the genius, and heavy duty dollars, that go into creating a 30-second spot to peddle Doritos, or Bud Lite to football fans south of the border. Some years, those ads are about the only interesting thing about Super Bowl Sunday. Not so this year, of course. Super Bowl XLIII, truly was one for the ages. All it took, in the final seconds of first half and of the fourth quarter were a few singular acts of brilliance to turn the event on its head. That, come to think of it, is exactly what advertisers were trying to do, too, with mixed success. All the ads are here, have a look.
