German biathlon gold winner Magdalena Neuner criticizes drug testing officials

Double gold winner in biathlon, Magdalena Neuner, has come out with heavy criticism of Olympics drug testing officials. “They treat us like pigs!” she exclaimed, referring to the team who take athletes through doping tests immediately after each event. “After the finish they treat us worse than pigs going to the slaughterhouse. You really get shoved around and force is used.” Neuner, who has just withdrawn from the competition to allow others a chance to medal, explained that sometimes up to five “screaming people are hounding you,” making it difficult to enjoy the moment in which an athlete has just won a medal.

  1. Yea, give anybody a little power over someone else and they go nuts.
    Who controls these people?

I saw this “little people in control” happen in our airports, TVA little people giving the public a hard time.

Magdalena did the right thing by exposing the dirt that hides behind the mirror.

  2. I don't know the validity of her accusations, but I just feel she has written "guilty" on her own forehead with these comments.

    • Don't feel offended. We all love the way the canadian people have organised the olympics and are welcoming the world. It is criticism from a very reputable and honest person and watching todays cross country events I even think it fell on fruitful ground, as the athletes seemed to stay unbothered much longer before the official duties were at hand.

  3. Think of all the endorsement money you'll be getting, Magdalena. Then, pee in the jar with a smile on your face.
