  1. If these protesters are serious about their cause, they should avoid dressing up in clown makeup.

    When crowds of people filled the streets of the Soviet Union in the 1980s and 90s to overthrow corrupt regimes, I can assure you that there was no paper mache or clown makeup.

  2. Seems more like a carnival than a protest, which is a good thing. I'd rather see colourful groups of activists promoting their cause in a positive, festive way. It sure beats violence.

  3. men in uniform – fiddlers and drummers, a bit of pot – forget the pride party – sounds like a guy could have a good time at the protest.
