Offices of Bob Rae and Ontario MPP Glen Murray receive envelope of itch-inducing white powder
A 59-year-old woman has been charged with hand-delivering a mysterious package to the political offices of Liberal Leader Bob Rae and Ontario MPP Glen Murray on Tuesday. Neither politician was present when the package—an envelope containing an unidentifiable white powder—arrived just after 2 p.m. Police were contacted when seven office employees began coughing, itching, and sneezing. The building was evacuated. Office employees say the woman charged has visited the office before.
