Hugh Segal is the junior Conservative Senator from Ontario and the former president of the Institute for Research on Public Policy. He is a senior fellow at the Queen's School of Policy Studies and has authored several books on public policy and conservative politics in Canada. He has served on the foreign affairs, agriculture and aboriginal affairs committees of the Senate, and chairs the Walter and Duncan Gordon foundation and the Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies.
