The first time seeing the northern lights. Driving in the dark though a remote bit of Saskatchewan I realized that the odd green lights coming from the sky was in fact the aurora borealis. I immediately pulled over to a nearby field and basked in its wonder. September, 2016

Driving along the Icefields Parkway as evening started to fall. We pulled over shortly after as we didn’t want to miss the postcard-worthy sights on the Rockies. July, 2016.

Canada has so many incredible national parks, but this one has to be my favourite. ItÕs like going back in time. Pedro drives the motorhome as we pass by a bison. July, 2016

Coco lies on Pedro’s feet on the bench of the kitchen table in the back of the RV. We got her off the streets of Salvador, Brazil and with a stroke of luck, turned out to be the best dog and travel companion I could imagine. September, 2016

PORT RENFREW, CANADA
Fog surrounds the RV parked in a small coastal community. We started to watch TV show Stranger Things shortly after I took this. I didn’t realize the irony of it until after. August, 2016

Pedro tends a campfire outside the RV. The only sounds were the crackle of the fire, crickets and coyote howls. The latter being every bit thrilling as was terrifying. July, 2016

PEYTO LAKE, CANADA.
You might see a place like this on a postcard, but because of its ridiculous beauty, it looks borderline fake. Sometimes you have to witness beauty with your own eyen in order to truly appreciate it. Especially when you seem to have the whole place to yourself. September, 2016

Pedro walks out of the front door of the RV onto an abandoned farm in the southern part of Saskatchewan. I’ve travelled across Canada before, but only saw the postcards. This time I found the highlights for me were almost everything between the highlights. July, 2016

We pulled the RV to the side of the road so we could get a glimpse of the endless road. It felt as if we had almost the whole province to ourselves. July, 2016
