Compared to last year, how much do you plan to spend on Christmas gifts this year?

  1. I have lost both my daughter 39, and husband at 69 within less than 8 months.  So it just me and the dog as I have other family.  I do buy a gift for my daughter’s best friend and for the children of another of her firends to whom she was their godmother.  Small pickings!

  2. im a person tee he

  3. buying a gift for your godchild is a lovely gesture.  As for the daughter’s best friend, unless it would put her in an awkward situation where she feels she has to return the offering, it would also be nice to remember her too.  The first Christmas is not easy, but you have many good memories.

  4. We  buy small for young children and we will be buying a substantial Gift of Hope (Plan Canada) in honour of friends and family. No one we know needs more stuff.

  5. You forgot to add another choice: *I don’t go Christmas Shopping

  6. I voted “the same” but did not get a chance to say that the same is ZERO. I just don’t do it anymore.  It is such a relief!

  7. You should ask the question after xmas. Did you spend less, more… I alsway start out planning to spend less. The key is to start your shopping as late as possible, be organized and get the job done as fast as possible. If I started in Sept I would be way over the top by now.

  8. When everything costs more this year, how can you NOT spend more on Christmas and everything that goes with it.
