Kensington Palace announces that Prince George will attend a local Montessori school starting in January
With a “Merry Christmas,” Kensington Palace has released a family snapshot of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte:

The palace has also announced school plans for George:

The nursery is “looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all of our children”

The photo release is one more in the bargain the royals have with the British press. As our in-house royal watcher Patricia Treble has explained previously: “The Windsors ensure the media gets regularly updated photos of the children, and in return the British press leave the children alone and, importantly, agree not to publish paparazzi images.”
Not so very long ago, the Palace released new pictures of Princess Charlotte as snapped by her mother, Kate Middleton:
The baby photos are among the few we’ve seen since the princess was born.
