PODCAST: Maclean’s on the Hill, Jan. 31

  1. Excellent work by Luiza on Keystone.

If this is year 7 of the Keystone approval process, this means the application was around 2007. I still submit on a national basis, the decision by the Klein Gov’t, lead by then AB envoy to Washington Murray Smith, to place an oil sands dumptruck within eyesight of the Capital Building as part of the 2006 Smithsonian Folk Life Festival planted the seeds.

And demonstrated naivete of what environmental opposition lay ahead.
