BTC: No props

Here is this week’s magazine piece. It wasn’t quite Lincoln-Douglas, but Raitt-Turner has a distinct and delightful edge to it. The concession call on election night—whichever side is phoning the other—should be broadcast nationally.

BTC: No props

  1. So Dion and Harper have each other on speed dial, right?

  2. I think it would be a sad irony to see Turner back selling his investment dust next week. And Raitt being a Maritime gal and all.
But still, Turner losing would give Himself one more seat… which is bad. And besides, she’s ruining Bonnie’s perfectly good name.

    Life is hard sometimes.

  3. Beware Obama could be the anti-christ
If the people of the US vote him to President he could be the one that takes over the world.
DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN

  4. Obama is pretending he has the answers to the economic problems. If he has the answers why doesn’t he tell us what they are instead of generalities

  5. Hey gang,

    Harper’s constantly called cold, “mean”,

was ridiculed about his sweater, by all the opposition,

during the debate was insulted, yelled at at times, May called Harper a liar,

when Dion entered the scene he told us Harper was cold, uncaring and lacked a social conscience,

the Liberal party, and Dion specifically publicly accused Harper of committing a serious criminal offence (with nothing but pure partisan desire as its evidence (the subject of Harper’s lawsuit)

    ect, ect.

Harper states the following about Dion’s flump:

“it shows he doesn’t have a plan, all he has is the Green Shift” (or words very closely to that effect)

and the media is outraged, accusing HIM of being “classless”.

Media to Harper: HANDS OFF OUR DION

  6. Oh,

and as to why Harper was subdued in the debates while he received insult after insult (no not just attacks, but insults),

    he knows the “rules”.

He’s meeeeeeaaaaaaan, therefore he deserves everything he gets,

    if he responds,

    he’s

    reaaaaaaallllllllly mean.

    Today’s media,

scouring the globe (and history – going back five years and counting!),

    for gotcha moments against Harper,

and actively playing cover for Dion.

I’ve never seen it this bad.

  7. Good schtick, kody. Learn to do it in French.

  8. A consolation for Canada; if Raitt wins, Harper will gain someone with an IQ–something rare in his previous caucus.

  9. And I’ll add, Kody must have an IQ but he hides it well.

  10. Good god conservatives whine a lot.

  11. “Today’s media,

    Kody,

Has it occurred to you that your man Harper has angered a LOT of people in the past 2-plus years–like the press for example?

People who are angered enough frequently find ways to return the favour.

I give the press high scores for the degree of balance they display in spit of the way they were and are treated by your man and his followers (Duffy the Sock Puppet excluded).

  12. –in spite, but spit is OK too.

  13. Garth Turner doesn’t care about Halton. Garth Turner cares about Garth Turner.
