Ill-advised partisan games aside, the Prime Minister’s speech today contained one truly offensive line. In explaining how his vaunted home-renovation tax credit works, Stephen Harper quipped: “In my experience it works like this: If you own a home and you have a wife, you will probably be doing home renovations in this year.”

It gets somewhat blue after that.
