PODCAST: Maclean’s on the Hill, Feb. 14

  1. Justin Trudeau has truly “sold his soul to the devil”. Is Larry Summers, one of the top ten people most responsible for the global economic crisis [Bill Clinton's Treasury Secretary who pushed for the repeal of Glass-Steagal and the reform of commodities and futures trading that permitted the proliferation of unregulated derivatives and credit default swaps, and the proliferation of structured finance (collaterailized mortgage bonds, CDO's etc) which facilitate all the bad mortgage lending practices], truly one of the featured talking heads at the Liberal convention.

Larry Summers is a sexist pig (comments about women while President of Harvard). He and Geithner and Rubin were the guys who bullied Brooksley Born out of the Clinton Administration, the women who was warning about the dangers of the repeal of Glass-Steagal and financial deregulation.

Larry Summers and Geithner are the guys who paid 100 cents on the dollar bailing out Goldman Sachs (the bailout of AIG was a backdoor bailout of GS), and who recommended far too small a fiscal stimulus for Main Street, completely undermining a truly sustainable economic recovery. Larry Summers is one of the main reason for the failure of Obama to actual help real people recover from the Great Recession.

This is the guy Trudeau and Freeland are bringing to the Liberal policy convention as a featured speaker.

Just like Obama was so clueless about economics that he become totally beholden to the banksters and the 1% through the Summers mafia, so now is Trudeau.
