For those who like their Throne Speeches loaded with irony

The writers of today’s three-and-a-half page promise of what is to come observed that “there can be no pride of authorship” yet still managed to use the phrase “our government” 15 times.

For those who like their Throne Speeches loaded with irony

  1. Our government refers to her majesty’s government. Not “our Conservative” government.

    • Why is that less ironic?

  2. It’s somehow fitting that Stephen Harper has chosen Chinese New Year to issue a speechlet whose content could have been neatly tucked inside a fortune cookie.

  3. Keep picking those nits, Wherry.

  4. “no pride of authorship…” is cover for Steve if this ever gets to court. Wonder if he has tape too?
