How you can profit from the coming apocalypse

Much has been written about the global financial crisis, but for my money this is the only analysis to really plumb the issue to its full depths.

How you can profit from the coming apocalypse

  1. And it’s free for download! I’m eager to read it–after I finish “The Fountainhead” for the third time.

  2. Andrew, you should send a copy to the PM. He thinks there are many opportunities to profit from our neighbours’ misfortune.

  3. Reading the press articles on National Newswatch,

    the overriding theme:

    Harper needs to SOUND nicer.

That’s great. As Dion literally promises to kill the economic goose that laid our golden egg, by attacking our petro industry, as we teeter on the edge,

    the press,

they want more sincerity in Harper’s eyes.

    Remarkable.

Well, perhaps not so remarkable given the days upon days of coverage of a cartoon bird.

As an aside, I couldn’t help but noticing the similarities between Paul Wells’ happily chiding me on the CPC dropping in Nanos, and the generally giddy tone of the press coverage at the CPC drop in the polls.

If Dion does take power, it will be interesting indeed how his Green sociology experiment on our economy (I have no doubt he will fully implement it) has on our teetering economy.

It will be equally interesting how this will effect Liberal long term interests in being the “natural governing party.”

The “long game” player in me is starting to hope for a Dion win.

But the ethical Canadian in me who cares about the economic well being of our country, is a tad concerned.

  4. Well Kody, just do what the PM suggested yesterday and buy up some of those great opportunities as a result of all this panic.

    Don’t worry, be happy, Kody!

  5. Oh, Kody, here’s Coyne delivering some fine subtle satire, and you’re posting Conservative talking points.

“As an aside, I couldn’t help but noticing the similarities between Paul Wells’ happily chiding me on the CPC dropping in Nanos,”

That’s because you make ridiculous assertions that the Nanos spread between the Cons and Libs will be 16 percentage points by this Friday. Which would be an interesting assertion if you had any basis to back it up. But you don’t; you only post your ‘predictions’ to irritate Liberals.

“If Dion does take power, it will be interesting indeed how his Green sociology experiment on our economy (I have no doubt he will fully implement it) has on our teetering economy.”

Dion’s not gonna get even a minority. Harper’s gonna get a minority; maybe lose a couple of seats, maybe gain them. Either way, Dion loses, because he gets the boot. And even if Dion got a minority he’d have a weak minority, with hardly a carte-blanche to push forward with his plan.

Oh, and stop talking in poetry. It’s annoying. See in my post, how every paragraph relates to one topic, and every sentance is a complete thought? Remarkable isn’t it? You should try it sometime.

  6. Unfortunatley, humanities atavistic spirtuality, or our inner nagging nany is about to come out.

    “I told you so”

    “You deserved that”

“The fires of repentance are upon you”

    “reap what you sow”

    “chickens coming home to roost”

yada yada yada….sigh, so lookng forward to it.

  7. kody, I know a certain group of kids that have a cure for the nasty case of having an “ethical Canadian” inside you. It’s above the sink in the war room methinks.
