The Harper bootlegs

Toronto Life tries to figure out the political calculations at play in the case of Stephen Harper and Rob Ford appearing on camera together. Since the original video disappeared and a six-minute compilation was blocked, at least three copies have been posted to YouTube.

The Harper bootlegs

  1. It’s a political benefit to Ford to be seen palling around with the PM.

It’s a political liability to Harper to be seen that way….too reminiscent of the last scene in Animal Farm.

  2. I never wanted to see the video before. Now that I’m not allowed, I want to see it!

    • Streisand Effect.

  3. I haven’t seen the video and frankly I have my doubts as to its authenticity based on technical issues.

Does anyone know if any publicly available lens has been manufactured with that wide an acceptance angle?
