The vast unionized media conspiracy

Glen McGregor notes an interesting sentence (that I skimmed past) in the Conservative response to news that the NDP had to pay back money received from union sponsorships.

The big unions who participated in this scheme include the United Steelworkers, the Canadian Labour Congress, the United Food and Commercial Workers, the Canadian Union of Public Employees, the Canadian Machinists Political League, the International Association of Firefighters, the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada. This last union represents many members of the media.

The Maclean’s newsroom is unionized through the CEP, which obviously explains everything I’ve written over the last six years.

The vast unionized media conspiracy

  1. No surprise here. You’ve always struck me as a union thug. It’s the eyebrows. They’re just too damn bushy. Or not bushy enough. Either way, your look screams Teamster.

    • It’s the pinky ring.

      • And the tattoos – it all just should screams ‘don’t mess with me and the boys’.

        • And the way he kinda’ blogs outta’ the corner of his mouth.

          • Wherry knows where all the bodies are buried too.

  2. I agree with all the other lefty nit-wit hypocrites… so what if the NDP broke election laws, and so what if Wherrey’s Union (mafia) buddies were breaking the law. I sure hope this lawbreaking by the NDP and the Unions doesn’t interfere with the pretense that Wherry is an unbiased “reporter”. I think it’s important to remember that illegal donations from Wherry’s Union (mafia) buddies and other Unions to the extreme left NDP is something to be mocked and NOT taken seriously… now if the Conservatives were taking illegal donations, that would be cause for some serious hysteria from the disgraced lefty media whores. As for this story, I agree with Wherry and the other lefty drones… meh… who cares.

  3. So if you ever write something positive about the Conservatives, or seriously go after a Liberal or Dipper, does that mean you’re on a “work to rule” campaign?

    • No, that means he’s a handmaiden to big oil.
