Trustache -

Toronto Life talks to Jack Layton.

Speaking of trust, have you heard that your mustache is now being dubbed the “trustache”?
Ha! No, I hadn’t. That’s hysterical.

Apparently, previously unbeknownst to me I confess, the trustache is actually a thing. As is the fact that Mr. Layton is in possession of one.

  1. “As is the fact that Mr. Layton is in possession of one.”

Layton is in possession of a mustache but I wouldn’t trust him with my niece.

Jack Layton:  “I don’t even remember the name of the place,” he says. (It was Velvet Touch.)

    The Sun, May 2011:

“Jack Layton was found laying naked on a bed by Toronto Police at a suspected Chinatown bawdy house in 1996 ….  When the policeman and his partner walked into a second-floor room at the Toronto massage parlour, they saw an attractive 5-foot-10 Asian woman who was in her mid-20s and the married, then-Metro councillor, lying on his back in bed.”

    UPI, Sept 1997:

About twelve 16-30-year-old Asian girls and women were trafficked into Canada each week on visitor’s permits and sold into prostitution. The girls and women were bought in North America for up to $15,000 by a network that made about U.S. $1. 4 – $2.2 million annually. The women are sold to brothel owners in Markham and Scarborough Toronto and Los Angeles and forced into $40,000 debt bondage.

    • And now that the story has been debunked,  move on.

      • Debunked by who? Are the little voices in your head getting louder again? Just because Union Jack says it didn’t happen and Olivia backs him up doesn’t mean it’s been debunked.

        • Look, we all understand that Cons don’t like socialism….fine.  Then attack democratic socialism, or NDP policies.

Don’t try the personal drive-by smear routine….Canadians don’t like it.

Nothing happened…no charges were laid…either against Layton or anyone else in the place.  There was no ‘smuggling’ going on….no one underage…no prostitution. The cops simply said they were watching the place, and Layton left.

Had you read the article on this thread, you’d know Layton’s numbers went waaay up after that smear, because Canadians recognized it for what it was…..bunkum, deliberately intended to hurt someone politically.

Well now the NDP is the official opposition….see where that stupidity got you?

          So stop it.

  2. On the topic of facial hair, Wherry, have you ever considered a moustache or beard?  I think both would look good on you.
