Maclean’s is your home for the daily political theatre that is Question Period, when opposition and government MPs trade barbs and take names for 45 minutes every day. Today, QP runs from 2:15 p.m. until just past 3. We tell you who to watch, we stream it live, and we liveblog all the action. The whole thing only matters if you participate. Read our morning tease to catch up on the issues of the day, and then chime in on Twitter with #QP.

Conservatives are back from their weekend convention in Calgary, and they’ll face—once again—questions from the opposition on the Wright-Duffy affair and the broader Senate expenses scandal. PM Harper doesn’t usually attend QP on Mondays, but who knows?

  1. just imagine, not one other minister on the cons bench had a word to say or a question to answer since the house opened. if that’s not dictatorial, I don’t know what is.

  2. someone ask Calandra, when was the last time their ministers answered a question, period !
