This afternoon, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair and his frowning band of New Democrats pelted the government with questions about the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline that would carry bitumen from the oil sands to port in Kitimat, B.C. The NDP wants it to disappear. The government will make its decision today, either approving or rejecting the pipeline.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, who supports the construction of the for-now uncertain Keystone XL pipeline, chimed in with his own opposition to Northern Gateway. He gets today’s clip. Here’s how it played out in our liveblog.
