Aaron Wherry on seven days on the campaign trail

With politics practised at such a fervent pace, every week of an election campaign is its own epic. So, every Friday, we’ll sit down and attempt to understand what we just saw and heard. This week: How should we think about balancing the federal budget?

The election week that was: How do you balance a budget?

  1. So where is the rest of the article?

  2. Trudeau states he is going to run deficits to meet his promises – Mr Wherry starts conversation by stating this then ignores any ramifications about this future deficit and goes after how did the Conservatives balance the budget and will we find out how. Who gives a rats you know what, its balanced or will be and the world did not all apart even though revenue has taken a catastrophic blow due to the price of oil. So how does Mr Trudeau attack the Conservatives for having a deficit and then he himself states oh deficits are good just not for Conservative gov’ts. Mr Trudeau is sounding a lot like his mentor and pom pom supporter Ms Wynne.
