If the latest presidential debate were a play, who would get cast as Donald Trump? Maclean’s invited five Canadian actors to “audition” at a stage in downtown Toronto, giving them lines from the Oct. 9 candidates debate. Graham Abbey and his wife Michelle Giroux are among Canada’s top Shakespearean performers, and their colleagues and friends, Sarah McVie, Andrew Musselman, and Kate Hewlett have acted in television productions and at theatre festivals internationally. Which contestants make the best Trump? Watch the video, and you can decide.
