Ron Hynes: Singer-songwriter, 64
Famous as the “man of a thousand songs,” the Newfoundland singer-songwriter helped popularize the East Coast music scene. His music, most famously the song Sonny’s Dream, was covered by dozens of musical acts, including Emmylou Harris and Stan Rogers.
