Are artists like Public Enemy unfairly discriminated against by Canadian officials?

Thunder, lightning, and a monsoon-type storm may have shut down the red carpet procession, but the rest of the 19th annual MuchMusic awards went off without a hitch. Perez Hilton, Rihanna, and New Kids On The Block (!) were among those there to celebrate.

Maclean’s recently spent some time trailing Ottawa rapper Belly, on route to his gig at Canada’s Wonderland’s Summer Rush concert. Slotted between The Venga Boys and Enrique Iglesias, Canada’s very own gangsta rapper showed the crowd who’s leading The Revolution.

Stars pull out all the stops to make an impression at the MuchMusic Video Awards. Jay Manual, of Canada’s Next Top Model, sports a “fierce” hat to the annual show and Tara Reid looks bright and beautiful (seriously). We’ve also got pics of Alexisonfire, Sum 41, Hilary Duff and Fergie.
