So anyway, the Chronicle Herald’s Steve Maher followed up with Peter Stoffer on that whole maybe-at-odds-with-Layton-over-the-budget thing. Short version? Yes, he thinks the NDP – like all parties – should wait to see the budget before making a decision on whether to support it, and no, he doesn’t think he’ll be kicked out of the party for saying so publicly.
