A plot summary of the movie Philadelphia, as edited by Jason Kenney

Andrew Beckett, a gay regular, normal lawyer, discovers he is infected with AIDS Pac-Man fever. He is fired by his law firm partners, who are prejudiced against gay people misunderstood. At a library, people move away from Andrew once they begin to suspect he is gay homeless and has AIDS dandruff. Andrew enlists the support of a homophobic smart lawyer who has a deep-seated intolerance but eventually comes to respect and accept Andrew a suit. On his deathbed, Andrew shares a tender moment firm handshake with Miguel, his boyfriend gardener. Moments later, Andrew passes away as a result of AIDS unknown causes.
